Upcoming Courses & Workshops

Partner Yoga with Jean-Marie Belzile Sat, Feb 13, 2016 at 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

In this class we will work in pairs, flowing, encouraging and assisting each other in postures. Working in pairs allows us to encourage and support each other into a deeper experience of the poses. The power of touch also helps us to warm and open the heart through the beautiful connection with another. This practice will be playful, fun, and encouraging to any level of practitioner. Grab a friend, a lover, or a stranger and join us!

Partners are required, but please be sure to sign up individually for this workshop - both partners must be registered. If you wish to attend, don’t have a partner, but are willing to be paired up with another student on the day, please let us know by emailing Mail@YogaBalance.info and we will try our best to accommodate you.

$30 per person. Register before February 6 for just $25!

Yoga & Chocolate: Savoring Every Moment with Richard Tango-Lowy . Sat, Mar 12, 2016 at 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Yoga teaches us how to become better aware of our bodies, hearts and minds so we can better understand ourselves and interact with the world around us. Yoga also teaches us how to be fully present in each moment in order to experience life fully. This Yoga and Chocolate experience will be an opportunity to experience these concepts in a very tangible way.

The workshop will begin with a 30 minute yoga class to help us deeply connect with our senses, body and breath and heighten our awareness of fine sensory input; the ability to discern layers, traces, hints, degrees, nuances, shades of experience. We will then enjoy a 90 minute chocolate lesson presented by Dancing Lion Chocolates: a lesson in the art of tasting chocolate, truly experiencing and appreciate it as an art form; its texture, taste, richness, color, smell, beauty and the pleasure we experience as a result, as well the history of chocolate, where it comes from and how it is made.

$60 per person; $55 before March 5. Space is limited!
