Upcoming Courses & Workshops

Date:
Prenatal Yoga Classes with Bethany Earls Next held on Mon, Apr 20, 2015 at 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm
This enrollment runs from Mon Apr 13, 2015 - Mon May 18, 2015
This six-week workshop is designed especially for the pregnant practitioner. You will learn breathing and focusing techniques that will help you to relax during pregnancy and childbirth. You will practice postures that will help to:

• Create more opening in the hips and abdominal region, which will help make space for your baby;
• Alleviate tension in the back, neck and shoulders;
• Create more openness in the chest; and
• Increase circulation to help prevent swelling in the feet and ankles.

As your body changes with pregnancy, so will your yoga practice. We will modify poses based on which trimester you are in and how your are feeling. Most importantly, this class will honor your mother's intuition, reinforce your body awareness and improve your ability to practice self care during pregnancy and into motherhood. This class is also appropriate for post natal students.

$95 for the full six-week session; $90 before April 6!

Hip Hip Hooray! with Michelle Dalbec . Sat, May 16, 2015 at 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

It’s been said that every pose in yoga lives in the pelvis. In order to have a stable and supportive practice the hips have to be both strong and supple.

Come experience a practice of creative, corrective movements along with classic yoga postures that take the hips through their full range of motion, stretching, strengthening, and stabilizing the hips. Make your hips happy, ease lower back discomfort, alleviate knee pain, and live better in your body by creating more awareness, better alignment, and freedom in your hips.

$55 per person. Register before Saturday, May 9 and pay just $50.
