Perfect for beginners or experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class, in this class, we will focus on stretching postures, gentle flows and breathing techniques that release stress, reduce tension and promote relaxation. We will finish with an optional 10-15 meditation for those who are interested or enjoy a deliciously long and luxurious Savasana! Absolutely no Yoga or Meditation experience is required.

Core strength isn’t about sculpting a six-pack to look better, it is about creating strength, mobility, and stability 360 ̊ around, from the top-down bottom-up, and from the inside out in order to move, breath, and live better in your body. In this workshop you will:

• systematically travel within your core to explore the key structures that mobilize and stabilize the spine.
• be introduced to several core-related breathing techniques to directly experience your diaphragm and improved it’s function.
• practice a multitude of extraordinarily deep, creative corrective exercises to stretch and strengthen all of your core musculature.
 
Come experience this whole body approach that uses creative movements focusing on alignment, breath, and habit awareness to restore your core and help you live better in your body.

Journey with mandala artist and author Kathryn Costa to discover the healing practice of creating mandalas. The workshop begins with an introduction to mandalas followed by a short gentle yoga sequence led by Kate. After centering into your body, Kathryn will guide you through the steps to create a beautiful, heart-centered mandala. No art or yoga experience required. Beginners are encouraged to attend. All materials and supplies are provided. You’re welcome to bring your favorite coloring supplies.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Join us for a six-week series of classes that will enable you to stay fit and active, reduce stress and become more in tune with your body at this very special time.

We will explore pregnancy-specific yoga postures, flows, modifications and variations that will help you find more comfort as your baby grows and your body changes. We will practice various breathing and relaxation techniques to help you stay calm and at ease during your pregnancy and during childbirth. We will create a supportive community and nurturing environment in which you will feel pampered, nourished and rejuvenated.
