Family yoga is a wonderful opportunity for parents and kids to practice together! This workshop is a great way to combine physical exercise, partner poses, kid-approved yoga poses, breath work, and relaxation, mixed in with a healthy dose of family togetherness.

Accommodations and variations will be offered to make sure that everyone has fun. Join us for a playful way to spend quality time with your family. We can also accommodate children older than 8 years - in this case, please contact us at Mail@YogaBalance.info for more details.

$20 per 1 adult and 1 child couple. Sign up before January 14 and pay just $15. Upon registration, we will contact you for the name and age of your child.
 
Additional family members may be enrolled for $5 per head.

Ease your way into the evening and unwind after a busy day with Gentle Yoga!

Perfect for beginners or experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class, in this class, we will focus on stretching postures, gentle flows and breathing techniques that release stress, reduce tension and promote relaxation. We will finish with an optional 10-15 meditation for those who are interested or enjoy a deliciously long and luxurious Savasana! Absolutely no Yoga or Meditation experience is required.

Space is limited; sign up as soon as you can! $95 per person; $65 for seniors and students ($90/$60 before January 12).

Beginners' Yoga Workshop with Gen MacKenzie Sat, Jan 28, 2017 at 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Everybody can do yoga! Our popular Beginners’ Yoga Workshop is specifically tailored for complete Beginners and is a wonderful, non-intimidating way to start your practice!

The workshop will include a 30-minute discussion about the history of yoga, the various styles of yoga, and both the physical and mental benefits of a yoga practice. The remainder of the workshop will focus on a breakdown of the basic postures of yoga with attention to alignment and options for modifications of poses as well as an introduction to meditation.

$30 fee per person. Register before Saturday, January 21, and pay just $25! Mats and props will be provided, but participants can take advantage of a 20% discount on YogaBalance yoga mats on the day of the workshop.

Partner Yoga with Jean-Marie Belzile Sat, Feb 18, 2017 at 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

In this class we will work in pairs, flowing, encouraging and assisting each other in postures. Working in pairs allows us to encourage and support each other into a deeper experience of the poses. The power of touch also helps us to warm and open the heart through the beautiful connection with another. This practice will be playful, fun, and encouraging to any level of practitioner. Grab a friend, a lover, a neighbor and join us!

Partners are required, but please be sure to sign up individually for this workshop - both partners must be registered. If you wish to attend, don’t have a partner, but are willing to be paired up with another student on the day, please let us know by emailing Mail@YogaBalance.info and we will try our best to accommodate you.

• be introduced to several core-related breathing techniques to directly experience your diaphragm and improved it’s function.
• practice a multitude of extraordinarily deep, creative corrective exercises to stretch and strengthen all of your core musculature.

Journey with mandala artist and author Kathryn Costa to discover the healing practice of creating mandalas. The workshop begins with an introduction to mandalas followed by a short gentle yoga sequence led by Kate. After centering into your body, Kathryn will guide you through the steps to create a beautiful, heart-centered mandala. No art or yoga experience required. Beginners are encouraged to attend. All materials and supplies are provided. You’re welcome to bring your favorite coloring supplies.
