•	Alleviate tension in the back, neck and shoulders;<br />
•	Create more openness in the chest; and<br />
•	Increase circulation to help prevent swelling in the feet and ankles.<br />

Learn breathing patterns to increase lung capacity, restore mental stability and prepare for meditation practice. Develop personal relaxation practices that will restore your nervous system and reduce stress.</p>
<p>$45 per person. Continuing Education Credit certificates for Registered Yoga Teachers with Yoga Alliance will be available for this workshop.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Virna Lisa received her yoga teacher certification through the Himalayan Institute Teachers Association. <p>Everybody can do yoga!  Our popular Beginners&#8217; Yoga Workshop is specifically tailored for beginning yoga students, and is a wonderful opportunity to get individualized attention and explore and understand the system of yoga.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The workshop will include a 30-minute discussion about the history of yoga, the various styles of yoga, and both the physical and mental benefits of a yoga practice. There will be a 90 minute breakdown of the basic postures of yoga with attention to alignment and options for modifications of poses. Included in this segment is an introduction to meditation and discussion of its purpose in a yoga class. During the last 30 minutes, Sun Salutations will be discussed and broken down.</p>

<p>Coral  Brown, MA, 500-eRYT, is a senior teacher and teacher trainer for Shiva  Rea&#8217;s Prana Flow® Yoga. She leads retreats, workshops, and teacher  trainings worldwide, and recently presented at the Bali Spirit Festival.  Coral is honored to be a Yoga Journal presenter. Coral&#8217;s teaching style  fuses the energetic, creative energy of the Prana Flow yoga method with  her experience as a Holistic Counselor.
